of the Robotic Business in Japan
Based on the twin pillars of technological development and market environment preparation, Japan is making a national effort to promote the robot industry, which is seen as having promising applications in coping with the declining and aging population, creating a safe and stable society, and ensuring convenient and comfortable lifestyles.
The Kansai region, the area centered around Osaka, in particular has a large concentration of SMEs with excellent technological capabilities in addition to world-leading research organizations and major home electronics manufacturers, and it would be no exaggeration to call it the center of the Japanese robot industry.
The Robot Laboratory is a creative center for the international robotic business that coordinates with a variety of research organizations, companies, and groups. Utilizing the advantages of the Kansai region, it fulfills the important role of amassing and disseminating information regarding the next-generation robot industry.
